Concord - A Journey to the West

Another Empire player here! So fun to see our Australian cousins in action! It was really interesting to watch and notice where the inspiration from the game has been taken, and where it's been tweaked and changed! So glad you had fun, looks like an awesome game!
One day I'll get back to Empire. I had a lot of fun as part of the Marchers.

Hi from an Empire player in the UK! Really interesting to watch this: I can see the clear aesthetic links to Empire, but the names of things are different :) It's a bit uncanny valley, but not in a bad way.
Cheers. I've also had a great time at Empire when I was last in the UK. This game did a great job of getting that vibe with smaller numbers.

This is just a weekly battle game for a bit of a bash. There are week long events that are in country locales.
Its only 2kms from the CBD, there is a train station 5 minutes walk away, tram 5 minutes walk away, change rooms and flood lighting, with parking for maybe 200 cars. Its a great central location for 300 to 400 people to meet after work/school on a weekday :) the week long events are in a rural camp ground with capacity for 1000 people
Arent yall suspose to fall and play dead when yall get killed but instead yall fall back and be healed,its just weird thats all,but anyways i can respect yall bringing back the history and acting it out

Dont stab wigh a larp sword!!!!!!! Its bloody dangerous
These are considered 'stab safe' as they have reinforced tips and a degree of bend in the core. But I definitely agree that stabbing can be dangerous with the wrong weapons.

Thanks, hopefully this will the start of more regular posting.
I love larp and all but its just not fun when all tactics/fighting styles are negated by the fact someone can just track your movements and lightly touch you rather than hit you. Melee weapons shouldn't be treated as lightsabers! more larps need to live a little and actually require good connecting swings rather than light stroking. Sure you'll have to wear some head gear but only then can you have a real skirmish with stakes.

@@Arguinghen I made this comment a while ago. since then I've looked up how this gun works. if you watch this kind of gun fire in slow motion (this video is too poor a quality to see it) the rubber band expands wide enough that it can't really hit you in the eye. it can slap you in the face but yeah. i imagine that if it was possible to hit someone in the eye everyone would be required to wear eye protection like gel blasters.
